Model History and Information: The Cat 272D2 is a high-performance skid steer loader with strong lift and breakout force for loading, grading, and material handling. It is powered by an electronically controlled Cat C3.8 engine and built on a long wheelbase with Caterpillar's vertical-lift design, which extends reach and lift height for quicker truck loading. An available High Flow XPS hydraulic system delivers added flow for demanding attachments, while the standard Advanced Display lets the operator adjust implement response, hystat response, and creep control from the cab.
