Model History and Information: The Koenigsegg Agera RS was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and built until 2018, with only 25 examples produced according to Koenigsegg. On November 4, 2017, an Agera RS averaged 446.97 km/h (277.87 mph) on a closed public road in Nevada, setting a top speed record for a homologated production car. Its 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 could be ordered with an optional one-megawatt upgrade that raised output to 1,360 PS.
