Model History and Information: Manufactured by Volkswagen, the Beetle had a 65-year production run from 1938 to 2003, one of the longest of any car. Its air-cooled, rear-mounted flat-four engine and two-door body changed little through the decades, and the model became closely associated with the counterculture movements of the 1960s. This 1:24 scale replica of a 1966 Beetle carries Coca-Cola livery and a Coca-Cola bottle mounted to the roof rack. The model has opening doors that reveal a detailed interior, an opening rear engine hatch showing the flat-four motor, and whitewall tires typical of the period.
