Model History and Information: The Maverick X3 is the high-performance side-by-side in Can-Am's off-road range, built by BRP. The X rs Turbo RR versions sit at the top of the line: a 900 cc three-cylinder Rotax turbocharged and intercooled to 200 horsepower, a 72-inch wide stance on a 102-inch wheelbase with 16 inches of ground clearance, and long-travel Fox Podium bypass shocks. A belt monitoring system and the Smart-Lok front differential complete the package, which is aimed at desert and dune running where suspension travel matters more than outright power.
