Model History and Information: Manufactured by Volkswagen, the T1 pickup shared its cab, chassis, and rear-engine layout with the Volkswagen Type 2 van, but replaced the enclosed cargo body with an open bed for hauling loads. It was offered alongside the panel van and Kombi from the early 1950s through the T1 generation’s end in 1967. This 1:43 scale replica reproduces a 1962 Volkswagen T1 Pickup with a simulated wood pickup bed floor and Coca-Cola livery.
