Model History and Information: Manufactured by Volkswagen, the Beetle had a 65-year production run from 1938 to 2003, one of the longest of any car. Its air-cooled, rear-mounted flat-four engine and two-door body changed little through the decades. This 1/43 scale set pairs a 1967 Beetle finished in Coca-Cola livery with a matching teardrop trailer that connects to the car by a hitch. The trailer’s rear hatch opens to reveal storage space, and the two pieces can be displayed connected or separately.
