Model History and Information: Freightliner launched the Cascadia in 2007, and Daimler Truck North America unveiled the fifth generation reproduced in this 1:64 model on October 15, 2024. The company states that the Cascadia had already delivered fuel efficiency gains of more than 35 percent since its first introduction. For the new truck, Freightliner lists aerodynamic features such as a Max Aero Bumper and front wheel well closeouts, together with Detroit Connect, which gives fleet managers remote vehicle monitoring, real-time diagnostics and over-the-air programming. Freightliner positions the Cascadia for TL and LTL freight, regional distribution, bulk haul and temperature-controlled work. This release models the fifth-generation sleeper tractor on its own, painted red.
