Model History and Information: 'Solido Works' is the name Solido gives to this custom orange finish of the E46 M3 Coupé, rather than a factory BMW option. The E46 M3 arrived in 2000 with the 3.2-litre S54 engine, producing 343 hp at up to 8,000 rpm, one of the highest specific outputs of any naturally aspirated BMW unit at the time, and was offered only as a coupé or convertible after BMW dropped the M3 saloon body. Around 68,000 examples were built through 2006. This example carries an orange finish with a matte black bonnet and a carbon-effect roof.
