Model History and Information: Shelby American announced the 2025 Super Snake in April 2024 as its first car based on the seventh-generation S650 Ford Mustang. Its supercharged 5.0-liter V8 is rated at more than 830 horsepower, well above the 760 hp of the previous Shelby GT500. The Super Snake was offered as a coupe or convertible with manual or automatic transmission, and the package adds a wide-body front fascia, upgraded suspension and brakes, magnesium wheels and a Borla exhaust.
