Model History and Information: The Continental Supersports Convertible was, on its 2011 launch, the fastest and most powerful open Bentley built up to that point. Its six litre twin-turbocharged W12 produced 630 metric horsepower and 800 newton metres of torque, enough for 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 202 miles per hour. Like the rest of the Continental range it ran on petrol, E85 bioethanol or any mixture of the two. In 2011 Juha Kankkunen drove one across the frozen Baltic off the Finnish coast at 205.48 miles per hour, beating the ice speed record he had set himself four years earlier.
