Model History and Information: The Porsche 993 Carrera RS launched in 1995 as the ultimate air-cooled 911 of its era, built partly to homologate the Carrera for BPR GT3 and GT4 competition. Its 3.8-litre air-cooled flat-six, the M64/20, produced 300 bhp at 6,500 rpm. The Clubsport version added a fully welded roll cage on top of the RS’s seam-welded shell, a strut brace, Nomex bucket seats with six-point harnesses, a battery isolator switch and a fire extinguisher, plus red-painted 993 Turbo-derived brake calipers. Porsche built 227 Clubsport cars out of 1,014 total 993 RS units. This example is finished in blue.
