Model History and Information: The Cat® 995 is a large wheel loader built to the same size as the 994K it replaced, offering a higher rated payload and greater efficiency for high-production loading of haul trucks in quarrying and mining. It is powered by a Cat 3516E engine and delivers strong lift and breakout performance from a powerful Cat powertrain. Caterpillar designed the 995 to give a one-pass loading advantage over its predecessor when paired with Cat 785, 789 and 793 mining trucks, increasing loading efficiency at the truck. This 1:50 scale model reproduces the 995 in its standard high-lift configuration.
