Model History and Information: The Cat® CT660 was a Class 8 vocational truck Caterpillar sold from summer 2011 for severe-service construction work, built at Navistar's Garland, Texas plant with a choice of Cat CT11 or CT13 engines, and it could be fitted with a range of work bodies such as mixers, dump beds and tractor-trailer combinations. Caterpillar exited the on-highway vocational truck business around 2016. This 1:50 scale model reproduces a set-back front axle (SBFA) CT660 fitted with an OX Bodies Stampede dump body, an aftermarket work-body option offered on vocational chassis.
