Model History and Information: The F-15K is the Republic of Korea Air Force's derivative of the Boeing F-15E, selected in 2002 under the country's next-generation fighter program. The first aircraft flew in 2005, and initial examples were delivered that October; a first batch of forty was followed by roughly twenty-one more delivered between 2010 and 2012. Named for its Standoff Land Attack Missile capability, it is a two-seat, twin-engine multirole fighter equipped for long-range precision strike as well as air superiority, and carries an infrared search-and-track sensor among its systems. The entire fleet is assigned to the 11th Fighter Wing at Daegu Air Base. The individual airframe and its mission record are not independently confirmed here.
