Model History and Information: The Hellenic Air Force operates F-16C/D Fighting Falcons as a mainstay of Greek air defence, including advanced Block 52+ aircraft. No. 336 Squadron, nicknamed 'Olympos', traces its origins to a Greek unit formed in 1943 under Royal Air Force command during the Second World War, giving it one of the service's longer lineages. In 2023 the squadron marked its eightieth anniversary, and a commemorative colour scheme was applied to an aircraft to note the occasion. Such anniversary liveries are ceremonial finishes carried over the operational airframe.
