Model History and Information: The 138th Fighter Wing is an Oklahoma Air National Guard unit based at Tulsa Air National Guard Base, flying the Block 42 version of the F-16C and F-16D Fighting Falcon through its 125th Fighter Squadron under Air Combat Command. In 2024 the wing honoured one of the communities from which it draws its people by dedicating F-16C 88-0545 as 'The Spirit of Broken Arrow', unveiling the city's logo on the jet's intake at a ceremony at the base. The aircraft is intended to keep the name in service for as long as the recognition programme continues, one of only a small number of Oklahoma cities so honoured.
