F-35B Lightning II 170533, VMFA-533 "Hawks", 2025 (beast mode) (1:72 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 8.9 x 8.9 x 3.1 in.
Model History and Information: Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 533, the Hawks, is a Marine Corps unit at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina, with a lineage reaching back to 1943 and combat service from World War II through the Gulf War and the campaigns that followed. Long a Hornet squadron, VMFA-533 received its first F-35B Lightning II in late 2024 and became the first operational F-35 squadron based at Beaufort. The short-take-off, vertical-landing F-35B gives the Marines a stealthy strike fighter that can also fly in 'beast mode', trading stealth for a heavier external weapons load when the mission calls for maximum firepower.
