Model History and Information: This two-seat F-5F is the twin-cockpit companion to Switzerland's single-seat Tigers, used for conversion training, instrument checks and continuation flying while retaining combat systems. Switzerland ordered both the F-5E and a smaller number of F-5F models from the late 1970s, with Swiss two-seaters carrying serials in the J-32xx range. Marked for Fliegerstaffel 6, the aircraft reflects that squadron's mixed single- and two-seat Tiger operations. Decades on, the Swiss Air Force remains among the last operators of the F-5, employing it for training and adversary support from Alpine airfields alongside its F/A-18 Hornet fleet.
