Model History and Information: Strike Fighter Squadron 136, the Knighthawks, is a US Navy unit based at NAS Lemoore, California, and equipped with the F/A-18E Super Hornet. Active since 1985, it has seen combat from the Gulf War onward and is assigned to Carrier Air Wing 3. The air wing has embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, its Super Hornets flying strike and air-defence missions from the ship.
