EA-18G Growler A46-301, 6th Sqn., RAAF, 2025 (w/2 x AIM-9 & 2 x NGJ) (1:72 Scale)

Model History and Information: Serial A46-301 was the first EA-18G Growler built for the Royal Australian Air Force, making its first flight on 13 July 2015 and rolling out at Boeing's St Louis facility later that month. Australia is the only export operator of the Growler, acquiring a fleet that entered RAAF service in 2017. A46-301 and the second airframe initially undertook systems testing at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, California. The type equips No. 6 Squadron, part of No. 82 Wing at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland, which declared initial operational capability in 2019. Derived from the F/A-18F Super Hornet, the Growler gives the RAAF a dedicated airborne electronic-attack capability to detect, jam and suppress enemy radar and communications alongside air, land and sea forces.
