Product Dimensions: 13.8 x 8.3 x 3.9 in.
Model History and Information: The Shenyang J-11 is a Chinese air superiority fighter derived from the Soviet Su-27SK Flanker and assembled by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. The J-11A designation refers to a later production standard that introduced some Chinese avionics and cockpit-display changes while remaining close to the original Russian design. It is a twin-engine, single-seat type intended primarily for air-combat tasks, with long range and a substantial weapons load. 'Golden Helmet' refers to a People's Liberation Army Air Force air-combat competition in which front-line units test their pilots' dogfighting skill, and aircraft bearing such markings are associated with that programme. Specific unit assignments and results for an individual airframe could not be independently confirmed.
