Model History and Information: China was the Flanker's first export customer, taking thirty-six single-seat Su-27SK fighters and forty two-seat trainers under an agreement negotiated from 1990. The SK is the export interceptor tailored to a Chinese requirement, with landing gear reinforced for a higher maximum take-off weight. The honorary title recalls Wang Hai (1926-2020), a Korean War flying ace credited with nine American aircraft destroyed or damaged, who rose to command the People's Liberation Army Air Force from 1985 to 1992; his wartime MiG is preserved in Beijing. The commemorative finish references a Chinese National Day fly-past. Documentation of this individual airframe and its parade role rests largely on collector references rather than official records.
