Su-30MKK, PLA Naval Aviation Sea and Air Eagle Regiment, Low Visible Painting, Unit 17 (1:72 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 11.99 x 8.04 x 3.48 in.
Model History and Information: China wanted a Su-27 that could attack ground targets as well as fight in the air, and the Su-30MKK was Sukhoi's answer to that requirement, agreed in the late 1990s. Unlike the Indian version it has no canards and no thrust vectoring; instead the airframe was strengthened for the strike role and given a two-seat cockpit with the second crewman managing weapons. The first aircraft flew in that configuration in 1999 and the first batch of ten reached the People's Liberation Army Air Force in December 2000, with two more batches following through 2001.
