Tornado ECR "NATO Tiger Meet 2025" 46+38, TAW 51 "Immelmann", Beja AB, 2025 (1:72 Scale)
Model History and Information: NATO's annual Tiger Meet gathers squadrons carrying a tiger or big-cat emblem for two weeks of intensive multinational training. The 2025 edition ran at Beja Air Base in Portugal from late September into early October, drawing dozens of aircraft from around a dozen nations plus partner states. Germany's Tactical Air Wing 51 'Immelmann', a long-standing member of the tiger community, sent a mix of interdictor/strike and electronic-combat Tornados from its Schleswig/Jagel home base. For the event this defence-suppression airframe wore a special sand-toned 'Desert Tiger' commemorative scheme. The wing provides the Luftwaffe's suppression-of-enemy-air-defences capability, and the exercise emphasised composite air operations with participants flying together in large mixed formations.
