Model History and Information: The Wacker Neuson EW65 mobile excavator moves to its deployment location under its own power. That saves time and transport costs. And yet it is almost equal to a caterpillar excavator in terms of working performance. Thanks to its double tyres, the mobile excavator can move over the most difficult terrain. The real EW65 is a wheeled excavator of about 6.5 tonnes, powered by a Perkins diesel engine of roughly 48 hp, able to travel on its own wheels at up to 30 km/h (18.6 mph) so it can move between job sites without a trailer. Front and rear stabilizers keep it steady while digging, and its three-pin bucket linkage delivers a breakout force of over 12,000 lb for curb, gutter and manhole work.
