W.O. Tetsuzo Iwamoto was a Japanese fighter pilot who flew the A6M5 Zero during World War II. Iwamoto was known for his skill and bravery in combat, and was considered one of the most capable fighter pilots of his time. He flew numerous missions over the Pacific Theater and was credited with several confirmed aerial victories against Allied aircraft. Despite his successes, Iwamoto was eventually shot down and killed in action. He is remembered as a brave and skilled aviator who made significant contributions to the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service during World War II.
