Model History and Information: The Chevrolet 3100 pickup was part of the Advance Design series, introduced in June 1947 as General Motors’ first major truck redesign after World War II. Compared to the prewar AK Series it replaced, Advance Design trucks used a larger, sleeker body shared across GM’s truck lines, with GMC selling a rebadged version. In late 1949 Chevrolet adopted numerical model names, with 3100 denoting the half-ton pickup. The Advance Design line, including the 3100, remained in production until March 1955. This 1:72 scale replica reproduces a 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup in a two-tone white-over-yellow Coca-Cola livery, with Chevrolet and Coca-Cola decals.
