Model History and Information: ZA371/C was a Panavia Tornado GR1A of RAF No.II (Army Co-operation) Squadron, a reconnaissance unit nicknamed 'Shiny Two' and recorded as the oldest squadron in the Royal Air Force. The squadron flew the Tornado from 1988, and this aircraft is depicted wearing the temporary white Arctic camouflage applied for deployments to Norway, including exercises held in 1995 alongside NATO allies training for high-latitude winter operations. The GR1A reconnaissance variant combined 16 converted GR1 airframes with 14 new-build aircraft, carrying an internal sensor pallet in place of the standard cannon armament.
