Model History and Information: XL Specialized Trailers introduced the XL 120 Low-Profile Hydraulic Detachable Gooseneck in June 2015 as the newest addition to its construction equipment hauling line. The company rated it at 110,000 pounds in 10 feet and 120,000 pounds in 16 feet in the center of the deck. Its low-profile neck lets contractors load equipment over the neck, and a five-position variable ride height adjusts neck height to different loads. Heavy-duty swing-out outriggers on 24-inch centers, the feature named in this outrigger style version, are standard. The three-axle trailer can be set up as a straight four-axle using a pin-on or as a 3+2 using a spreader bar, and this set adds a jeep and two boosters.
