Model History and Information: The Caterham Seven descends from the Lotus Seven. In 1973 Lotus sold the rights to Caterham Cars, which introduced its own Series 3-based Seven in 1974. The Seven 275 used a Caterham-tuned 1,596 cc Ford Sigma four-cylinder with variable valve timing, rated at 135 hp at 6,800 rpm, in a car weighing 540 kg. A 2015 road test quoted 0 to 100 km/h in five seconds. This version is finished in Purple Metallic.
