Model History and Information: The AV-8B Harrier II is a V/STOL attack aircraft, a joint United States and United Kingdom development. The Spanish Navy was the first international customer for the type, ordering 12 aircraft in 1983 and calling them EAV-8B Matador II. Spain's Harriers are operated by 9 Escuadrilla from Rota. The squadron brought the aircraft to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in 2023, where it took part in the flying display. This model represents a Spanish Navy EAV-8B in the RIAT 2023 markings given in its title.
