Model History and Information: The F-16AM is the single-seat F-16A Block 15 fighter brought up to Mid-Life Update standard, a package that raised cockpit and avionics to roughly F-16C/D Block 50/52 level and added the improved APG-66(V)2A radar. In April 2024 Argentina signed a contract to buy 24 second-hand Royal Danish Air Force F-16 MLU aircraft, ending a period without a supersonic fighter that began in 2015. The first six jets left Denmark on 28 November 2025 and reached Rio Cuarto on 5 December 2025, destined for the VI Air Brigade at Tandil. This model represents an F-16AM in Argentine Air Force markings with the serial M-1018.
