Model History and Information: The Porsche 917/20 was a one-off developed by Porsche engineers with the French firm SERA to combine the advantages of the short-tail and long-tail 917, with an extremely wide body and rounded wheel arches. Its pink livery, with each body section labeled like a butcher's cut chart, earned it the nickname "Pink Pig". At the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans it raced as #23 with Reinhold Joest and Willi Kauhsen and did not finish. The car is displayed today at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
