Model History and Information: The International HX Series made its debut on February 1, 2016, at the World of Concrete show in Las Vegas as a new line of Class 8 premium vocational trucks for severe service work. The HX520 was presented separately that April at Truck World in Toronto as the fourth model in the range. It is the set-forward front axle version, built as a truck or tractor for heavy haul, construction dump and platform stake or crane applications, and it was offered with the Cummins ISX15 engine. Every HX cab brought DriverFirst cab air suspension and standard LED lighting. Diecast Masters based the colors of its 1:50 HX trucks on actual International paint chips, and this tandem tractor is finished in metallic blue.
