F-14D Tomcat, Ace Combat, "Pumpkin Face"
Product Dimensions: 5.08 x 5.34 x 1.34 in.
Model History and Information: The F-14D was the final and most capable production version of the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, combining the airframe's variable-geometry wings with upgraded General Electric engines, the APG-71 radar and digital cockpit displays. 'Pumpkin Face' is not a real squadron marking; it reproduces a fictional Halloween-themed livery from the Ace Combat video game series, in which an F-14D appears painted orange and grey with a jack-o'-lantern face, bat motifs across the fuselage and tail fins, and 'Happy Halloween' lettering on the wing. This 1:144 model carries that fictional scheme rather than any real operator's aircraft.
