F-16D Fighting Falcon Polish Air Force 6th Fighter Squadron, 2013
Product Dimensions: 8.23 x 5.45 x 2.68 in.
Model History and Information: The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine, highly agile multirole fighter that became Poland's principal modern combat type after its first F-16C/D Block 52+ aircraft arrived in 2006. The 6th Tactical Squadron at Poznan-Krzesiny had flown the Su-22M4 in the ground-attack role; it was the third and last Polish squadron to convert to the F-16, receiving its first jets in 2008 and reaching full operational capability in 2009 while keeping its air-to-ground mission. The squadron joined the NATO Tiger Association in 2011 and has since painted some of its F-16s in the tiger-stripe schemes that member units apply for Tiger Meet exercises, of the type carried by this aircraft.
