Citroen Mehari 1983 - Azur (1:18 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 7.70 x 3.35 x 3.59 in.
Model History and Information: The Mehari was designed by Roland de la Poype, a French fighter pilot of the Second World War who set out to improve on the Mini Moke's low ground clearance and rust-prone bodywork. Revealed in May 1968, it was one of the first cars in the world bodied in ABS plastic, mounted on the chassis and running gear of the 2CV, with removable doors and a folding fabric top. A four-wheel-drive version was offered between 1980 and 1983. Citroen built 144,953 examples before production ended in 1988, and the car became a fixture of beaches, farms and civil protection fleets across southern Europe.
