1:72 GTK Boxer Skyranger, Digital Camouflage
Model History and Information: The Boxer is built around an idea rather than a role: a common drive module carries interchangeable mission modules that can be swapped in about thirty minutes, so the same fleet can serve as personnel carrier, ambulance, command post, engineer vehicle or gun platform. The programme began in 1993 as a German and French venture; France left in 1999 and the Netherlands joined in 2001. Series deliveries to the German and Dutch armies began in September 2009, Germany having approved 272 vehicles and the Netherlands 200, and more than thirty module configurations exist.
