MI-24P, Aviation Group of Russian Air and Space Forces in Syria RF-91859 / 21 2017 - Khmeimin AB (1:72 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 10.82 x 9.41 x 3.55 in.
Model History and Information: The Mi-24 is unusual among attack helicopters in carrying troops as well as weapons, with a cabin behind the gunner and pilot that seats eight. It entered Soviet service in 1972. The Mi-24P, which NATO called Hind-F, gave up the flexible nose machine gun of earlier versions for a twin-barrelled 30 mm cannon mounted rigidly on the right side of the fuselage; the gun hits far harder but cannot traverse, so the whole helicopter has to be aimed at the target. It went into production in 1981 and became the definitive gunship version of the family.
