Model History and Information: The MiG-19 was the Soviet Union's first production supersonic fighter. China acquired the design under licence in 1957 and produced it as the J-6, eventually building more than 4,500 examples for domestic and export use. The original MiG-19 also served with Warsaw Pact air forces, including East Germany. It represents the transition from early jet interceptors to the truly supersonic Cold War era, a period later recreated by flight simulations and games because speed, guns and early missiles demanded very different tactics from modern fighters. The configuration and markings represented are: MiG-19S Farmer C. 1 Staffel/JG-3. Preschen. 1968. 5th World Aerobatic Championships (1:72 Scale).
