Model History and Information: The Mirage 2000C is Dassault's single-seat, delta-wing air-defense fighter, which entered French Air Force service in 1984 with fly-by-wire flight controls and the Thomson-CSF RDM radar. This aircraft, coded 5-OP (No. 74), flew with EC 2/5 "Île de France" and is shown as deployed to Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, in 1991 for Operation Daguet, the French contribution to the Gulf War.
