Mirage IIICZ n° 804, 2 Squadron "Flying cheetahs", Waterkloof Air Base, Republic of South Africa, 1982 (1:72 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 8.22 x 4.49 x 2.46 in.
Model History and Information: South Africa received Mirage IIICZ interceptors from 1962 and assigned them to No. 2 Squadron, the Flying Cheetahs. The aircraft served during the southern African border war before Mirage F1s took over front-line work. This edition's 1982 Waterkloof marking belongs to that South African story, not to the Israeli or French Mirage units represented by other Panzerkampf releases. The Mirage III's clean delta wing, high speed and wide export career have also made it a familiar aircraft in Cold War flight simulations.
