Model History and Information: The RUF RGT was introduced in 2000 as a RUF model built on the Porsche 996, using a 3.6-litre flat-six. The original car had a dry-sumped, naturally aspirated flat-six making about 385 bhp, reached on at least one converted 996 GT3 with a RUF exhaust, an upgraded catalytic converter, a remap and a higher rev limit. The first generation ran from 2000 to 2004. Its 0 to 60 mph time is listed as 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h). The car was built by RUF Automobile of Germany.
