Model History and Information: This assortment contains one each of the four 1:35 scale Cat radio control machines from Diecast Masters: the 336 hydraulic excavator (23001), D7E track-type tractor (23002), 950M wheel loader (23003) and 770 mining truck (23004). Each is full-function radio controlled on 2.4G and comes in a window box. The real machines cover different jobs. Caterpillar's D7E uses an electric drive system in which a generator, power inverter and propulsion module replace the torque converter and transmission, giving infinitely variable speed control without gear shifts. The 950M is a medium wheel loader powered by a Cat C7.1 engine, while Caterpillar developed the 770 off-highway truck for construction, mining and quarry applications.
