Model History and Information: The assortment holds one each of four Cat Mini RC machines, and the retail boxes show a 770 off-highway truck, a 336 hydraulic excavator, a D7E track-type tractor and a 950M wheel loader. The full-size 770 is a 40-ton nominal payload class truck that Caterpillar developed for construction, mining and quarry work. The next-generation 336 brought Cat GRADE with 2D, Grade Assist and Payload as standard technologies. The D7E replaced a conventional transmission with a diesel-electric drive in which a C9.3 engine turns a generator feeding AC electric motors. The 950M is a medium wheel loader built with a Tier 4 Final/Stage IV engine and an articulating hitch joining its front and rear frames. Each toy comes in its own Construction RC window box with a controller.
