Model History and Information: Kenworth configures its T880 for demanding vocational work, and heavy hauling sits on its list alongside dump, mixer, tanker, refuse and logging duty. The standard T880 uses a set-back front axle. Behind it here is a Trail King TK120HDG lowboy. Western Ag Sales bought the Trail King trailer line in 1978 and renamed itself Trail King Industries in 1983, after developing a hydraulic detachable gooseneck known for a one-person, 60-second connection. Trail King engineers the TKHDG so that unhooking, loading, unloading and hooking up again is a one-person operation, and rates the TK120HDG at 120,000 lbs in 12 ft. This 1:50 set is the black cab and black trailer version with Oversize Load signs.
