Model History and Information: The Kenworth T880 is a vocational truck that Kenworth sets up for heavy hauling as well as dump, mixer, tanker, refuse and logging applications, with a set-back front axle in its standard form. Its trailer in this set is a Trail King TK120HDG hydraulic detachable gooseneck lowboy, which Trail King rates at 120,000 lbs in 12 ft. The detachable gooseneck is engineered so that unhooking, loading, unloading and hooking up again is a one-person operation. Western Ag Sales acquired the Trail King trailer line in 1978 and took the Trail King Industries name in 1983. This 1:50 version pairs a white cab with a white trailer and Oversize Load signs.
