Model History and Information: International unveiled the HX Series at World of Concrete in Las Vegas on February 1, 2016, as its line of Class 8 premium vocational trucks for severe service. The HX520 joined the range two months later at Truck World in Toronto as the fourth model. Its set-forward front axle layout, offered in truck or tractor form, was aimed at heavy haul tractors, construction dump trucks and platform stake or crane bodies, and power came from the Cummins ISX15 engine. When Diecast Masters announced its 1:50 Transport Series in 2018, the inaugural lineup featured HX Series trucks with colors taken from actual International paint chips. This release is the HX520 day cab tandem tractor in white.
