1:12 Caterpillar Twenty 100th Anniversary Scale Model - Luxury Version

Model History and Information: Caterpillar Tractor Co. was formed in 1925 from the C.L. Best Tractor Co. and The Holt Manufacturing Company, and at first it built track-type tractors using the designs of those predecessor companies. The Twenty, which entered production in 1927, was the first machine wholly designed and built by the new company. According to Caterpillar, the first Twenty was built as a display unit with serial number EXP 0000-L and, instead of the standard gray and red scheme, received a white paint job with black trim and brass- and nickel-plated accents. This 1:12 Luxury Version was produced for the Caterpillar 100th anniversary; the product photos show a bright silver and gold finish and packaging marked Caterpillar 100 Years.
