Model History and Information: Introduced in 2026, the Audi RS 5 Avant brought a plug-in hybrid powertrain to Audi Sport's high-performance range. Its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 works with an electric motor in an eight-speed transmission, producing a combined 470 kW (639 PS) and 825 Nm. The new quattro system uses electromechanical torque distribution at the rear axle, while RS-specific suspension and wider bodywork distinguish it from the A5 Avant. Audi says the cars are built in Neckarsulm. Progressive red metallic is among the finishes Audi lists for the model.
